How do I move my piece?
Swipe directly on your piece to move it. The direction of your swipe determines the direction of movement, and the strength of your swipe controls how far you go. You can only move your own piece — swiping elsewhere on the board has no effect.
What does "pressure" mean?
Every move you make adds pressure to the board around your destination. Pressure spreads to neighboring cells and slowly decays over time. If pressure exceeds the threshold at any point on the board, the ground collapses and you lose. The board darkens visually where pressure is high.
What is the goal of the game?
Reach the dashed circle (your goal) on the opposite corner of the board before running out of turns. In two-player mode, the first player to reach their goal wins. You must balance speed with caution — aggressive moves build more pressure.
What does tapping do?
Tapping anywhere on the board performs a "wait" action. Your piece stays in place, but pressure still decays slightly and the turn advances. This can be a strategic choice to let pressure dissipate before your next move.
What do the difficulty levels mean?
Kids has a high pressure threshold and fast decay — very forgiving. Calm is the standard mode with moderate pressure sensitivity. Silent+ has a low threshold and slow decay, requiring very careful and strategic play.
Why does the board darken?
The board cells darken proportionally to the pressure in that area. Darker cells indicate higher pressure. This gives you a visual map of danger zones to avoid. A dark halo may also appear around your piece when it's in a high-pressure area.
The app won't launch or crashes
Try restarting your device and ensuring you have the latest version of the app. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling. Your settings will be reset, but no personal data is affected as the app stores nothing externally.
No sound during gameplay
Stillfall uses subtle audio tones that play through the device speaker regardless of the silent switch. Check that your device volume is turned up. The audio tones are intentionally quiet and only activate when pressure reaches danger levels.
Is the app available on iPhone?
Stillfall is currently available for iPad only. The game is designed and optimized for the iPad's larger display in portrait orientation.
